Another successful day for Fernhill at Kilmanahan event this weekend. It was still an early start for us, despite the event being only twenty minutes from home as Frasers 3 star ride Fernhill Revelation was first to go. So we didn’t get the lie in we were hoping for!

Never mind,  Fernhill Revelation whose stable name is Warren jumped double clear in the O/CNC2 star to finish second with a final score 26.6 in this vey competitive class. Fraser picked up brownie points helping to build the showjumping track. It must have paid off because all his horses jumped so well.

Fernhill Casano, Frasers other 2 star ride, was also a very good boy. Being 7 years old it was only his send intermediate run and he was just out of the prizes over a few time penalties!

The two 6 year olds were double clear to make the day even better. The flashy grey Goose picked up a blue ribbon for second place with a 27 dressage and the sporty bay Dexter came 4th with a 32 dressage. Both on track for L’ion qualifications with a bit of luck! They are both really talented horses with big futures!

Emily was very pleased to be riding her faithful  Fernhill Crystal Clear, an 8 year old by Carrick diamond lad. This lovely horse is never far out of the prizes and never lets you down. He jumped double clear in the one star class flying over the Kilmanahan trakhaners, ditches and banks. He is ready for 2 star without doubt.

Her other ride Fernhill Razzmatazz  was just out of the prizes today, he is a lovely moving horse with a super jump by the thoroughbred stallion ghareeb. He has plenty of gears and is very capable of moving up the grades.
